Mentoring plays an essential role in organisations and along-side coaching and training it can enhance professional development, motivation, performance and empower individuals to undertake important projects they may otherwise not feel able or skilled to do.

The aim of this half day course is to raise awareness and understanding of what mentoring is and how to get the most from your mentoring relationships. 

By the end of this half day training, you will:

  • Know what your role is as a mentor and the likely expectations on you

  • Characteristics of a great Mentor

  • 5 stages of mentoring
  • Structuring your mentoring sessions
  • Wheel of Mentoring to support your mentoring
  • Review and reflecting on your learning
