This course is suitable for anyone who wants or needs to improve their awareness of how language evolves when it comes to talking to and about other people.
It is well suited to those who work with the public, but is absolutely relevant to all levels of staff working in an organisation, from frontline staff to senior leadership.

- Language in use today (and yesterday) – considering the actual words
- How language evolves – with a focus on communication and people
- Geography and culture – how what’s ‘acceptable’ can vary
- Self-identification to choose language – why it’s important to empower individuals and groups
- Don’t panic – what to do if it goes wrong
